Hey y’all, I’m Shayna

Holistic marketer and copywriter

I held my first “do good” remote job in 2011 with a company smartphone.  At the time, I was providing technical assistance and troubleshooting (on-call, overnights) for the 8,000 members of Ithaca Carshare and their fleet of 20 cars.


After years of administrative assistance for nonprofits, such as a community art school, and solopreneurs like an audiologist who sold hearing aids to her aging clients, I eventually got a massage therapy license and launched a private practice.


Aside from being a lover of small business, I’m also a website copywriter for holistic providers in the health & wellness niche. 


You see, I'm a pathological writer.  I sleep with a journal on my nightstand.  At university I switched majors from health promotion to journalism, and ever since I have ritualistically burned accumulated journals every few years—to psychically cleanse the old and bring in the new. 


I am always grateful to channel my root passion for writing.  I love helping female founders and design agencies achieve their dreams through storytelling, compelling copy and VA skills.

Monthly Retainers and Web Design Virtual Assistance Plans

VA Starter Trial (5 Hours)

We start with a paid trial period of 5 VA/copywriting hours at a low-cost, low-risk investment to you.  You are charged upfront for the 5 hours before work commences.  The rate of $50/hour covers your agency for both virtual assistance as well as website copy production and editing, as you see fit.  During this starter plan we advance the objectives discussed in your consultation, and we also get a feel of how we work together.

VA Abundance Plans (10 - 20 Hours)

Three-month minimum commitment required.  The rate of $50/hour covers 10 hours of copy or web design virtual assistance.  With the retainer agreement, we mutually benefit in the security of ongoing and long-term support.  Together we tackle big dreams through copy, love and skill, while growing abundance for our clients.  Sign on for 15 hours at $45/hour for $675 or 20 hours at $40/hour for $800.  Inquire so we can chat.

Copywriting retainer or per project fee

This agreement covers your agency for expected outcomes in finished website copy, pages per month.  Three-month minimum commitment required.  The retainer covers finished website copy for one website a month, or 5-7 pages (700-1000 words per page) for the holistic leaders we long to serve.  A contract is signed before any work commences, and you will be billed upfront at the start of every working month.  While collaborating, our clients thrive and love their skillfully written websites.

  • Is onboarding billed within the VA plan or how does that work?

    In general, as a courtesy, a one-hour onboarding call is provided with every plan and is not considered a billable hour.  Further training and support is billed. 


    When transitioning from the starter plan or bliss bundle to a monthly retainer, an additional hour on the house does not apply.
